There is a small mark through the finish on the left side of the buttstock. There is a small chip above the rear sling stud. The recoil pad exhibits some light wear from use and general handling wear. The stock rates in about Fine overall condition.

There is light handling and standard operational wear. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Fine-Excellent condition only due to the chip in the stock.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: None.

Our Assessment: The Remington 700 needs no introduction. It has been one of the most popular bolt action rifles in America for decades, seeing use in target shooting, hunting, and in law enforcement. This one is chambered for 6.8mm Remington SPC and has a 24 inch heavy barrel. The 6.8mm Rem SPC was designed by Remington and the U.S. Army Marksmanship unit to replace the 5.56 NATO round to improve terminal ballistics and improve downrange lethality. The barrel has a nice bright bore with sharp rifling and this example has strong mechanics. This is a proven American classic in Fine-Excellent condition and something you definitely need if you have not added one to your arsenal yet! Please see our photos and good luck!
