Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked with Remington’s Ilion, NY address, “350 REM MAG”, and the “PX” date code. The right side of the barrel is marked with a series of proofs. The left side of the receiver is marked with the serial number, and “Remington / MODEL 673”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a black blade, screwed to the top of the vent rib. The rear sight is a U-notch sight on an adjustable riser, dovetailed to the vent rib. The top of the receiver is mounted with a one-piece Leupold style scope base for optics.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a one-piece checkered laminate wood stock, with a semi-pistol grip, fluted straight comb with cheekpiece, brown Remington rubber buttpad, and sling studs front and rear. The stock shows light handling wear, with only a couple of light scratches and minor compressions scattered throughout. The checkering is well defined. The stock’s finish is intact. The stock fits tightly to the barreled action, with no play. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the stock rates in Fine to Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 96% of its original metal finish. The balance of the finish shows light wear, with some minor thinning of the finish at the muzzle crown, a few superficial imperfections scattered throughout the metal surfaces, and operational wear on the bolt. Most of the jeweling on the bolt is still visible and crisp. Otherwise, the bluing is deep and dark throughout. The markings are clear and legible. The screw heads are sharp. Overall, this rifle rates in Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly, as does the safety. We did not fire this rifle, but we did perform a mechanic’s check. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
