Our Assessment: The Remington 870 Wingmaster is among the most revered pump-action shotguns ever produced, known for its durability, reliability, and smooth cycling. This 1976 example in 20 gauge Magnum configuration is a particularly desirable combination, offering the punch of 3-inch shells in a lighter and more manageable platform than its 12-gauge sibling.

Built during the era when Remington quality was at its peak, this Wingmaster features a blued finish and walnut furniture that give it a classic aesthetic appeal. The 28-inch barrel with a Full choke makes it well-suited for upland game, waterfowl, and even some clay shooting applications. Its lighter recoil and smooth handling make it an excellent choice for both seasoned shooters and newer sportsmen.

Whether you’re looking for a dependable field gun or a collectible example of Remington craftsmanship from the golden era, this Wingmaster offers excellent value and performance. Please see our high quality photos and good luck on your bid! – M.C.
