Our Assessment: The VIS 35 was a highly regarded Polish military pistol developed before World War II and adopted as the standard service sidearm of the Polish Army. With its solid construction, single-action trigger, and a grip safety reminiscent of the Colt 1911, the VIS 35 was widely considered one of the best military handguns of its time.
After the German invasion of Poland in 1939, the VIS 35 fell into German hands, with production continuing under occupation. Early Polish-made examples, such as this one, are particularly desirable due to their superior quality and historical significance.
This particular pistol, with its Polish markings and wartime history, is a fantastic piece for collectors of World War II firearms, especially those interested in Axis-captured weapons or Polish military arms. Its historical significance and design make it a must-have for enthusiasts. Please see our High Quality photos and good luck with your bids.-C.M.
