Our Assessment: If you’re looking for high-quality AR builds, this EA-15 is worth your attention. A little history lesson: Eagle Arms bought the Armalite name in 1996 and they would produce firearms under the Armalite name thanks to its brand recognition power. Around 2013, the company sold to a new group who then revived the Eagle Arms name to cover their new line of low-priced guns, not wanting Armalite’s name to be associated with a budget brand. This rifle with the Coal Valley location dates to before the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban These firearms have solid parts and a reputation for reliability. This rifle will stay with you for life if you treat it right and makes for excellent performance. With a ribbed forearm and classic A2 features, you can give this gun the 21st-century treatment at the range or keep it as a show-and-tell piece. Either way, ya gotta bid on it first!
