Sights / Optics: The front sight is a globe sight dovetailed into the barrel. The original rear sight was removed and a tang mounted Soule peep sight is attached.
Grip/Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a two piece checkered wood. There are minimal handling marks present. There are no chips or cracks present. The butt plate fits the stock with no movement. The stock rates in about Excellent condition.

Finish Originality: Original
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 9 out of 10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its original metal finish. The balance of finish shows minimal wear from handling and storage. The screw heads are sharp with turnable slots. The markings are clear and legible. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action and safety functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. We have cleaned this firearm and performed a mechanic’s check but expect many will want to clean the firearm again depending on their standards.
