Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “CIMARRON / FREDERICKSBURG, TX”, “SH22789”, has the Pedersoli logo, “PEDERSOLI”, “CAL. 50-90”, “MADE IN ITALY”, “CAT. 11796”, “BLACK POWDER / CARTRIDGE ONLY” and has two Italian proof marks. The left side of the receiver has four Italian proof marks including the date code “BU”.

Sights/ Optics: The front sight is a dovetailed globe style sight featuring an aperture reticle inside a protective hood at the muzzle end of the barrel. The is a dovetailed green spirit level. There is also a Creedmore Diopter adjustable for windage and elevation screwed to the top tang. The diopter has some light handling marks but remains in Excellent condition.
Stock Configuration & Condition/ Grip: The stocks are two-piece wood featuring a checkered forend with brass cap, checkered semi-pistol grip, Monte Carlo Style comb and a metal buttplate. The stocks have some light handling marks but lack any notable defects. The checkering is sharp. The LOP is approximately 14.1” from the front trigger and 13.25” from the rear trigger to the back end of the buttplate. The buttplate has some light handling marks. Overall, the stocks are in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: The rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. There are some light handling marks on the metal surfaces but they lack any notable defects. The markings remain clear. The screwheads are serviceable. Overall, the riddle is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box Paperwork and Accessories: The rifle comes in its serial matched box and some paperwork (no user manual included although the information is available for free on the Pedersoli website). The box has some scratches, small tears and nicks. Notably, the styrofoam insert has small breaks but it still retains its shape. Overall, the box is in very good condition.

The rifle is a modern replica of the late 19th century hunting rifle with a modern twist. The rifle is beautifully crafted and remains mechanically sound. The rifle’s caliber is designed for buffalo and other big game hunting. It is also suitable for use in modern BPCR competitions. This is one rifle you do not want to miss out on!
