Our Assessment: The Pedersoli Gibbs Rifle is a .45 Caliber, blackpowder, muzzle loaded, percussion target rifle. It is a recreation of the 1865 vintage percussion rifle made by George Gibbs of London, which was highly coveted in its time. This percussion rifle has seen little use, though there is a well done repair in the stock. It is perfect for competition shooting, recreational target shooting, and even hunting during the muzzleloader season. The Pedersoli Gibbs rifle holds several NRA of America and international long range records out to 1,000 yards as well as records for shorter ranges. This rifle is a perfect way to enter the challenging sport of muzzle loading match competition. Good luck on your bid!
