Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “Para Hi-Cap”. The right side of the slide is marked “16.40 Limited”. The right side of the frame is marked “PARA USA INC. /PINEVILLE NC. / P242093”. The top of the barrel is marked with the Para logo and “.40 S&W”. The left and right grip panel is marked with the Para logo.

Sights / Optics: The gun is mounted with a red fiber optic blade dovetailed to the slide. The rear sight is a serrated blade with a square notch, which is dovetailed into the slide.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two piece black checkered with the Para Ordnance logo and smooth borders. The checkering is sharp with a few lightly compressed checkers. The smooth borders show light drag lines. The exterior of the grips show flashing from the factory. There are no chips or cracks present. Overall, these grips rate in about Excellent condition.

Type of Finish: Stainless Duo Tone with Black Para Paint

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.

Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 98% of its original metal finish. The balance of finish shows only the lightest of handling marks. There are no major signs of wear. The markings are clear. The screwheads are sharp. Overall, this pistol rates in about Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

 Box, Paperwork & Accessories: Four 15-round magazines blued magazines are included with this pistol. The magazines show very light handling marks. The magazines rate in about Fine Plus overall condition.
