Markings: The right of the barrel is marked “MADE IN BELGIUM / 22 LONG RIFLE”, the bottom of each has Belgian proof marks. The frontstrap is marked with the serial number. The bottom of the grip frame has proofs.

50192U5: The left side of the barrel is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY / ST LOUIS Mo. & MONTREAL P.Q.”

54437U5:  The left side of the barrel is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY”.

Barrel Length: 4 1/2″

Sights / Optics: The barrel has a tail screw-secured to the top of the chamber with a square-notched barrel-type sight adjustable for windage and elevation. The front sight is an undercut blade fixed to the front of the barrel.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The grip is one-piece checkered walnut that wraps around the backstrap. There are some scattered draglines and handling marks, most notable on 54437U5 at the top right. There are a few marks through the finish on the bottoms, lmore notable on 54437U5. 54437U5 has a few little scuffs through the finish on the right side up at the top. The checkering is mostly sharp with light handling wear. 54437U5 has a few little nicked peaks. The grips are in Fine condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in either bore.

Overall Condition: 50192U5: This pistol retains about 98% of its metal finish. There is light thinning on the edges, most noticeable on the magazine well and there is a faint hairline scratch just above the magwell on the front strap. There is a light mark on the rear of the slide. There are some spots of finish loss on the trigger. The screw heads are sharp to lightly used. The markings are clear. Overall, this gun rates in Excellent condition.

54437U5: This pistol retains about 96% of its metal finish. There is light thinning on the edges, with a bit of heavier thinning on the left side of the muzzle, on the rear edges of the slide and rear sight base. There are a few spots of faint frost on the front strap. There are a few spots of frost on the right rear of the slide and rear of the frame. There are a few spots of mottled plum finish on the right side of the front sight blade. There is a light mark on the rear of the slide. There are some spots of finish loss on the trigger. The screw heads are sharp to lightly used. The markings are clear. Overall, this gun rates in Fine condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The trigger is light and crisp. We have not fired this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol pair comes in a custom fitted wood display case with a tan suede interior and a pair of magazines. There is a plaque on the interior of the lid that is marked with the make, model, and two serial numbers, one serial matches and the other does not match. There is a lock but no keys are included. There are some draglines and scratches on the lid. There are a few scattered little marks into the finish, most noticeable on the edges. There are a few spots of faint discoloration to the suede and a few marks on the edges where they meet the pistols. The case rates in about Fine condition. The magazines have some little scuffs and a few spots of thinning. One has a few small scratches and light bend to the body but still functions correctly. The magazines rate in about Very Good and Fine condition.
