Markings: The right side of the frame is marked “NIGHTHAWK CUSTOM BERRYVILLE, AR USA NCP 41156”. The right side of the slide is marked “NIGHTHAWK CUSTOM”. The red dot is marked “HOLOSUN HS507C V2 #140125300”.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade with white outlined tritium lamp insert. The rear sight is a rectangular notch sight integrated into the front of the optics plate that is currently carrying a Holosun 507C. The optic functions correctly and is in Very Good condition showing only minor wear and rub marks. The pistol also includes the original iron sight plate if the red dot is not preferred. The tritium lamps glow brightly in low light conditions.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The pistol includes two sets of grips. The original G10 Nighthawk logo bearing grips show virtually no signs of wear or use and are in Like New condition. The installed grips are also VZ G10 grips and are similarly in Like New condition.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: This pistol includes two Nighthawk 8 round magazines with tapered floorplates. Both magazines are in about Excellent condition showing some minor carbon fouling on the followers.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. The feed ramp is smooth and shiny and the crown is clean. The bore shows some minor fouling in the grooves. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9.75/10.
Overall Condition: The pistol is in Excellent+ to Like New condition showing only very minor fouling from very limited use.
Mechanics: The action functions like it is on properly greased roller bearings. The slide to frame fit is flawless. We have not test fired this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol includes a Nighthawk Case, the two magazines, Iron sight plate and tool, tool, the original grips, cable lock with keys, and Holosun cover.
Our Assessment: This Nighthawk Custom Shadowhawk in 45 ACP with a 5″ barrel and Black Out DLC finish is a superb example of handcrafted 1911 precision, and this particular pistol, built circa 2022 under Nighthawk’s “one gun, one gunsmith” philosophy, takes that craftsmanship to another level. It features a Holosun red dot, mounted for rapid target acquisition, and an white outlined tritium front sight for high visibility both in daylight and low light conditions. The G10 grips give a firm, aggressive hold, while the single-side right-handed safety retains a traditional control layout.
What sets this Shadowhawk apart is how it feels in hand. The slide glides with a smoothness that feels almost hydraulic, a testament to the meticulous fitting. The frame-to-slide fit is exceptionally tight, with no perceptible play, yet still cycles with glassy smoothness, hallmarks of top-tier gunsmithing. The trigger is crisp and clean, with a sharp break and an impressively short reset, delivering superb control and precision for both defensive use and range work. This pistol doesn’t just look custom, it truly performs at the elite level you’d expect from a master-built Nighthawk 1911.
