Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “MOSSBERG CHAMBERED FOR 2 ¾ AMD 3 IN. SHELLS / -MODEL 590- 12 GA. – 20 IN. CYLINDER BORE”. The right side of the barrel is marked with a three line warning. The left side of the frame is marked “L816152. The underside of the frame is marked “MOSSBERG / MADE IN USA / NORTH HAVEN, CONN. / 590 12 GA”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is an orange colored blade dovetailed into a raised rib. The rear sight is a Mossberg branded ghost ring aperture style sight that is adjustable for elevation.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The two-piece polymer stock set features a ribbed forend and rubber butt pad. A small five slot picatinny Magpul Moe rail mount is attached to the left side of the forend, please see photos. The forend and buttstock show light handling marks with a few impact marks. The LOP measures 14” from the front of the trigger to the back of the rubberized shotgun pad. There are no chips or cracks in the stock. The stocks rate in about Very Good Plus overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright. There is no erosion in the bore. Light fouling is present, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your standards.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 93% of its metal finish. There are scattered light nicks and scratches, most notably on the magazine tube and ejection port. The action bars show light finish loss. The markings are clear. The safety screw shows tool marks with a turnable slot. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly and smoothly. The safety is stiff but functions properly. We did not fire this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
