Markings: The right of the barrel extension is marked “MITCHELL ARMS AMERICAN EAGLE / CAL. 9MM LUGER”. The left of the frame is marked “AIMCO INC HOUSTON TEXAS / 4332”. The top of the chamber ring is marked with an American Eagle over “1991”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated, ramped blade dovetailed to a boss at the muzzle. The top of the sight has orange paint. The rear sight is a “V”-notch integral to the rear of the rear toggle.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece checkered walnut panels. The right panel has a nick above the grip screw. Otherwise, the grips have only light handling marks. The checkering is mostly sharp. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips are in Fine-Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 97% of its metal finish. There are a few scattered light scuffs and scratches. The action shows minor operational wear. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this pistol is in about Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The barrel assembly has barely perceptible play to the frame. We did not fire this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes in a cardboard Mitchell Arms box with the serial number hand-written on one end, a total of two 8-round magazines with wood floorplates and a Mitchell Arms burgundy fabric drawstring bag. The box has scattered light wear and is missing one of the ears on the lid, in about Good condition. The magazines have no notable wear or damage, intact feed lips and a strong spring, in Excellent condition.
Our Assessment: This stainless steel version of the historic P08 is made from investment grade stainless steel casting and has some scuffs and scratches from the factory. There are a few handling marks and wear marks from interaction during operation. This pistol fills a niche for collectors who want to shoot a Luger without worrying about handling erosion or loss of historic value.
