Markings: The buttpad is marked “Decelerator”. The left side of the receiver is marked “McMILLAN PHOENIX, ARIZONA USA 10180216”. The bipod mount is marked “KAC PN 26557 WWW.KNIGHTARMCO.COM KIGHT’S ARMAMENT COMPANY”.
Barrel Length: 30″ Fluted barrel. 33.5” with the three baffle brake. This rifle weighs 26.8lbs.
The rifle includes a 50 BMG barrel this barrel is 27.5”.
Sights / Optics: This rifle has a 7.5” picatinny rail on the receiver for the mounting of optics. The rifle also has a 5” rail on the top of the bi pod mount.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a take down Mcmillan stock with a wide flat forend, integrated textured pistol grip with slight finger grooves, and a removable stock with a rubberized adjustable cheek piece and rubber buttpad. The length of pull is adjustable via spacers currently set to 15” from the front of the trigger tech trigger to the back of the buttpad. The stock shows handling marks, nicks, scratches, and scuffs scattered throughout. The rubber buttpad is soft and pliable. The cheek riser adjusts easily. The stock is easy to remove and reinstall. Some of the edges of the rubber on the cheek piece are starting to lift. There are no visible cracks. Overall the stock is in Good+ condition.

Bore Condition: The installed 416 barrel is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. The muzzle device shows some minor carbon build up. The feed ramp is smooth and shiny. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9.75/10.
The 50 BMG barrel is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. There is fouling present on the edges of the grooves. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: The rifle retains about 97% of its metal finish. The rifle shows scattered minor marks and marrs in the finish. All of the screws show rust in the socket holes. The bottom of the magazine shows rub marks and marrs. The top of the wrist just behind the receiver shows marks from the bolt being removed and installed. The markings are clear and the screw heads are not stripped. Overall the rifle is in Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: The McMillan MK15, often referred to in civilian circles as the TAC-50, is a bolt-action anti-materiel rifle renowned for its extreme long-range precision. Originally chambered in .50 BMG, this particular setup has been upgraded or converted to fire the more ballistically efficient .416 Barrett cartridge while retaining the ability to switch back to .50 BMG via an included barrel. The .416 Barrett offers flatter trajectory, less recoil, and improved wind resistance compared to .50 BMG, making it highly effective beyond 2,000 yards. Both calibers are fed from a robust, internal box magazine, and the rifle features a massive muzzle brake to tame the substantial recoil.
