All of the screws are in good condition with some minor marring. There are many surface imperfections throughout the rifle. This writer would give the overall condition of this rifle as Good.

Our Assessment: Manufactured in 1902, this antique Marlin Model 1893 is a fine example of turn-of-the-century American craftsmanship. Chambered in .30-30 Winchester—a cartridge that helped define the modern sporting rifle—the 1893 was Marlin’s flagship lever-action design prior to the introduction of the Model 36 and 336. This rifle features a long, elegant 26-inch octagonal barrel and classic crescent buttplate, evoking the era of deer camps, saddle scabbards, and frontier utility. Whether you’re a collector of antique lever guns or a fan of early American firearms, this Model 1893 is a desirable and historically rich piece. Make sure to inspect our detailed pictures to get a better idea of the firearm. -C.R.
