Markings: The right side of the slide is marked “MAGNUM RESEARCH, INC. MINNEAPOLIS, MINN MADE IN ISRAEL” The right side of the frame is marked “31204191”. The left side of the slide is marked “®DESERT EAGLE ISRAEL MILITARY INDUSTRIES LTD (I.M.I)”. The left side of the barrel is marked “.50AE”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a tritium lamp insert simple blade dovetailed to the slide. The rear sight is a two tritium lamp insert square notch sight dovetailed to the slide. The front tritium lamp still barely glows. The rear two are depleted.
Stock Configuration & Condition: This pistol includes two sets of grips. The original wrap around Hogue Grips show rub wear and texture loss with some discoloration from age. These grips are in Fair+ condition. The installed grips are Acrylic Ivory grips with Eagle heads inlaid. The grips show some surface level lines and the right side panel has a crack forming from the seam at the backstrap. These grips are in Fair+-Good condition.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: This pistol includes one 50 AE 7 round magazine in Very Good condition.
Type of Finish: Chrome
Finish Originality: Original, possibly re-brushed.
Bore Condition: The bore is mirror bright and the polygonal rifling is well defined and clean. There is no erosion or pitting. The feed ramp shows minor wear. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: The finish shows rub wear spots, oxidation and some spots of surface rust. The safety levers appear to have been intentionally cut off and tightened down in place essentially deleting the safety. The lug recesses in the barrel show fouling build up. The screw heads are sharp and the markings are clear. Overall this pistol is in Fair condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly with exception of the deleted safety. We recommend having the pistol evaluated by a competent gunsmith before firing. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
