Markings: Right side of the slide is marked “MAGNUM RESEARCH, INC. MINNEAPOLIS, MN USA. MADE IN ISRAEL”  The right side of the frame is marked with the serial number “ 33200044”.  The left side of the slide is marked “®DESERT EAGLE / ISRAEL MILITARY INDUSTRIES LTD (I.M.I)”.  The left side of the spare barrel is marked “.50 AE” near the muzzle. The left side of the .44 barrel is marked “.44” near the muzzle.  The Black .44 magazine is marked 4-8 on the magazine windows and “44 / 5-95”  The 2 spare Black Mags in 50AE mags are marked “4-7” on the magazine windows and are marked “5-95 / 50”.  

Barrel Length: The .50 AE and .44 barrel length is 6” with a total length of  6 1/2” from the end of the barrel to the bolt locking lugs.  

Sights / Optics: The front sight on the .44 barrel is a serrated ramp blade sight dovetailed to the barrel.  The front sight on the .50AE barrel is a finned fore sight. The rear sight is a fixed U notch iron sight, dovetailed to the slide. 

Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are ergonomic rubber molded with texture for extra very well needed grip support. The pistol also comes with the factory plastic grip. The grips rate in about Excellent overall condition.  

Magazine Quantity & Condition: There are two steel .50AE Desert Eagle mags that have a capacity of 7 rounds.  There is one .44 Magnum magazine that holds 8 rounds.  The magazines are in Fine condition.

Bore Condition:  The bores are bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.

Overall Condition:  This handgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. The screw heads are sharp and the markings are clear.  Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent condition. 

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: There are a total of 2 barrels, 3 magazines, extra grip and a Magnum Research Hard Case with this Desert Eagle as well as takedown tools.

Our Assessment:  Guns are engineered for multiple purposes.  For military service, police service, competition shooting, hunting, collecting, etc… The Desert Eagle was originally engineered, developed, and designed by Magnum Research, with the help of Israeli Military Industries, for one purpose and one purpose only… because they could!  This is the firearm you need just in case there is an intruder at your neighbor’s house hiding behind 3 cars and a refrigerator!  It’s an understatement to say that the Desert Eagle is an engineering marvel, impractical sure, but a marvel nonetheless.  It is a gas operated, semi automatic, closed rotating bolt system packing the most powerful rounds on the market for a pistol.  It is one of a kind and a monster willing to intimidate anyone brave enough to try and tame it.  The Desert Eagle has developed a very unique niche and fanbase because of the power it brings to the range. The iconic look and size makes it a legend by itself that draws anyone’s attention.  It demands oohs and awes from crowds which is why Hollywood and video games have included the Desert Eagle in many projects.  This particular Israeli Desert Eagle is chambered in .44 Magnum and also features a monstrous brushed silver .50AE Magnum barrel.  Bring this beast to the range and show just how tough you are as the crowd’s attention is fixated to this beauty. If you need a bear gun, this gun is so cool that a bear might be honored by the chance to get shot by one, with the added benefit that if you miss you can always throw the gun at the bear and knock him out!  Display it in a glass case, make it your Safe Queen, mount a scope to the rail and snipe targets at the range.
