Markings: The right side of the frame is marked “LES BAER CUSTOM / HILLSDALE.ILL USA / LB6457”. The right side of the slide is marked “BAER / Custom”. The left side of the slide is marked “45 ACP”. The chamber is marked “BEAR 45 MATCH”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated blade dovetailed into the slide. The rear sight is a flat-topped square notch target sight with a serrated rear face. The rear sight is fully adjustable for windage and elevation and is dovetailed into the slide.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece checkered wood grips. There is no handling wear. The checkering is strong. There are no chips or cracks. The grips rate in Like-New overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion. The feed ramp is smooth and polished. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10.
Magazine quantity and condition: This pistol includes two 8 round magazines in Excellent condition with its factory box and signed Les Baer Certificates.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows little to no handling or operation wear. The screw heads are undamaged. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent to Like-New condition. The tolerances are very tight and this pistol still needs to be broken in.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The slide has no play to the frame. The trigger is crisp. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements. Features a Grip safety and ambidextrous side thumb safety.
