Our Assessment: Kimber has been associated with quality guns here in the U.S. for decades, building some of the finest semi-custom rifles and pistols on the market. This beautiful over/under has many features of high dollar shotguns like hand detachable sidelocks, internal action parts highly polished and fitted, jeweled internals and barrel breech, cocking indicators, 3″ magnum capability, screw-in chokes, and beautifully figured Turkish walnut stocks. Balanced wonderfully right on the hinge pin and gorgeous to the eye, it would be impossible to find a better value anywhere. The wood is hand checkered to perfection and finished with a hand-rubbed oil finish. The action has a stunning bone and charcoal case color hardening, and there is just enough engraving to add a touch of elegance. The buttstock is fitted to the rebated frame to perfection, with perfectly executed teardrops at the apex of the locks and a hand checkered butt! These are features found on some of the best guns out of England and Italy. The barrels are beautifully Belgian Rust Blued and have screw-in chokes for the ultimate versatility. This is a beautiful gun and should be a fine shotgun to take clay shooting or upland game hunting. Please see our photos and good luck!
