Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “KW02506”, “Kimber 8400”. The left side of the barrel is marked “KIMBER MFG. INC. YONKERS, NY, USA .270 WSM CLASSIC” with a “P” at the chamber.
Barrel Length: 24”. The rifle weighs 8LBS.
Sights / Optics: There are no provisions for iron sights. The top of the receiver is set up to be mounted with a two piece scope base. Currently mounted via a Leupold STD mount is a Leupold VARI-X III 4.5-14x40mm scope with covered 1/4 MOA turrets, objective mounted parallax, and a simple duplex reticle. The turrets adjust with positive clicks, the light transmission is good and the sight picture is clear. The magnification adjustment is a little tough. Overall the scope is in Very Good condition.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is one piece checkered walnut with capped semi-pistol grip, fluted straight comb, Kimber rubber butt pad, and two sling studs front and rear. The LOP measures 13.75” from the front of the trigger to the rear of the butt pad. There are no chips or cracks. The wood shows two small but notable nicks on the left side of the belly. Overall the stock rates in about Excellent condition.

Finish Originality: Original
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. The bore is very clean. The crown on the muzzle is clean. In this writer’s opinion the bores rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is little to no operational or handling wear. The screw heads are sharp. The pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions properly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
