Markings: The left of the slide is marked “CUSTOM Kimber SHOP”, the right is marked “PRO RAPTOR II”. The right of the frame is marked “KIMBER / KR202644” and “YONKERS NY USA”. The chamber is marked “.45 ACP”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade with a tritium lamp. The rear sight is a Novak-style square notch with two tritium lamps and a serrated rear face. Both are dovetailed to the slide and the rear sight also has a set screw. The lamps are bright and easily acquired in low or no-light environments.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are wood panels with scale texture and the “Kimber” logo on either side. The grips have no notable wear or damage, only light handling marks. There are no chips or cracks. The grips rate in Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.

Overall Condition: This gun retains about 99% of its metal finish. There are no major defects, just light operational and light handling marks. The grip screws are undamaged. The markings are clear. Overall, this pistol rates in Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The slide to frame fit shows barely any movement. The trigger is crisp. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your standards.

Box & Accessories: This pistol comes in a black plastic Kimber case with serial matching label, an assortment of factory paperwork including manual, and a pair of 8-round magazines. The magazines have some light wear from use with strong feedlips. The mags rate in about Fine condition.

Our Assessment: For 40 years, Kimber has been producing some of the finest 1911-style pistols in America and this is no exception. This particular pistol comes packed with features such as aggressive scalloped rear slide & front strap serrations, extended beavertail grip safety, ambidextrous safety, full-length stainless guide-rod, skeletonized hammer and trigger, checkered mainspring housing, and of course, Kimber quality. This example is in Excellent condition showing signs of light handling and comes with two magazines.
