Our Assessment: This rare Israeli FN Model 52 Mauser was made by Fabrique Nationale (FN) as Israeli Training Rifle. It mimics the FN Short Rifle which was chambered in 7.62 NATO and the K98 which was chambered in 8mm. It is in nice shape with a deep & crisp Israeli Defense Force (IDF) crest on the receiver. Only 2000 of these .22 Trainers were produced by FN. Israel received 1000 and South Africa received the remaining rifles. The rifle comes with an Israeli K98 sling and with an Israeli Mk. 1A Knife Bayonet, Scabbard & Belt Frog.
Good luck.
