The barrel is import-marked “ARL ORD ARLINGTON VA” on the right in front of the handguard.

The stock and sights are described below.

Barrel Length: Approximately 24 Inches

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade set between two protective wings. The rear sight is a fully adjustable aperture sight. The windage knob is marked “LEFT arrow” twice, “IHC” and “DRC”. The elevation knob is marked from “2-12” in increments of 2 and “WC E”.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The three piece hardwood stock has a pistol grip, metal nosecaps, stacking loop, two sling loops and a metal buttplate with hinged metal door for storage in the butt. The cutout for the trigger group is slightly oversized. There are gaps around the bottom metal. The wood scattered light nicks, scuffs and scratches with a few light scrapes. There is loss under the front hand guard. The LOP measures 13 ¼ inches from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The stock rates in about Very Good overall condition as refinished.

Type of Finish: Blued over worn Parkerize

Finish Originality: Refinished

Bore Condition: the bore is mostly bright. The muzzle has some discoloration on the lands. The rifling is deep. The bore shows an M.E. of 3. The throat shows a T.E. of 4.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 85% of its metal finish as refinished. The underside of the receiver has discoloration. The metal shows erosion on the receiver where it meets the top wooden handguard. The metal bands between the handguards show light erosion. The metal on the buttplate shows some that the checkered pattern has become faded. There is scattered wear with some worn to white and some showing parkerized finish. The trigger group has some minor erosion and discoloration. The barrel and gas tube show scrapes & small scratches. The front of the bolt and the right side of the receiver show light thinning from cycling. The markings are deep. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good condition as refinished.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this rifle. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: The rifle comes with an unmarked green canvas sling. It shows soiling & discoloration on the canvas as well as light scratches & oxidation on the metal. Overall it is in about Very Good condition.
