Our Assessment: The IAC Model 1887 is a faithful reproduction of the iconic Winchester 1887 lever action shotgun, designed by John Browning. This modern import by Interstate Arms Corporation retains the historical lines and feel of the original while being constructed with more contemporary metallurgy for modern use.
The 18.5″ barrel and matte finish make this a solid candidate for Cowboy Action shooting, home defense, or range fun, especially for enthusiasts drawn to lever action novelty in a shotgun format. The action is smooth and satisfying, and the capacity makes it a formidable short-range repeater.
Collectors may enjoy it as a shooter companion to original 1887s, while shooters will find it to be an affordable and durable platform that stands out from typical pump or semi-auto shotguns. Please see our high quality photos and good luck on your bid -M.C.
