Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “.22 LONG RIFLE” with an Eagle logo. The left side of the frame is marked “SUPERMATIC / CITATION”. The left side of the slide is marked “HI-STANDARD”. The right side of the barrel is marked “HIGH STANDARD MFG. CORP. / HAMDEN, CONN. U.S.A.”. The right side of the slide is marked “1244726” and “MODEL 103”. The right side of the frame is marked “1244726”. The bottom of the magazine is marked “HI-STANDARD”.
Barrel Length: The weighted barrel measures 9” to the end of the stabilizer/compensator. There are two barrel weights installed.
Sights / Optics: This pistol is mounted with a square notched flat topped rear sight adjustable for windage and elevation and a blade front sight whose base is screwed to the barrel. The top of the slide and base of the front sight are serrated, and have a matte finish as do the front and rear sights.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are checkered reddish-brown synthetic panels. The front strap is serrated. There are brass “Hi Standard” medallions on both sides that have light tarnish. The panels show some faint little nicks and handling marks on the smooth borders. There are no chips or cracks. The grips rate in about Fine-Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 95% of its metal finish. There is very faint thinning at the leading edges. There is thinning and light surface oxidation at the muzzle. The bottom of the barrel has scratches around the threaded barrel holes. There are some other faint little scratches infrequently scattered about the metal. The screw heads are sharp and the markings are clear. Overall, this pistol rates in about Fine condition.
Mechanics: This pistol has a VERY light trigger. The action functions correctly. We have not fired this pistol. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol includes one ten-round magazine, 2 installed barrel weights and a stabilizer/compensator. The magazine shows standard operational wear and is in Very Good overall condition.
Our Assessment: The Citation was carried over to the 103 series intact from the 102 series. The weights and stabilizer were not included in the standard package but were available and higher cost options. This Citation comes with both and is in Fine condition, retaining about 95% of its original finish. It’s got a bright, clean bore and a feather-light trigger. Please see our photos and good luck!
