Markings: The lockplates are engraved with elegant scrollwork and bear the signature “Wogdon,” in tribute to the famed London gunsmith whose pistols were used in the 1804 duel between Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr. The browned octagonal barrels are engraved with matching style signatures. Both pistols are serial numbered “862A” and “862B” respectively. The trigger guards, breech tangs, and mounts are adorned with tasteful engraving.
