Markings: The lockplates are engraved with elegant scrollwork and bear the signature “Wogdon,” in tribute to the famed London gunsmith whose pistols were used in the 1804 duel between Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr. The browned octagonal barrels are engraved with matching style signatures. Both pistols are serial numbered “862A” and “862B” respectively. The trigger guards, breech tangs, and mounts are adorned with tasteful engraving.

Sights / Optics: Each pistol is fitted with a small fixed blade front sight and a rear notch sight cut into the tang, typical of 18th-century dueling pistols.
