Our Assessment: This custom German Mauser is a Commercial Variation of a K98. We do not know if this pre-WWII rifle was built off of a stripped K98 receiver or if a Military rifle was rebuilt into this Sporting configuration. Either way this is a good looking tough Mauser with a full rib barrel, decorative metal work, clam mounts, and double set triggers. Good luck.
