Markings:  The left side of the barrel is marked “FREEDOM ARMS MODEL 1997 .357 MAG / FREEDOM, WYOMING U.S.A.” The right side of the receiver is marked, “FREEDOM ARMS PREMIER GRADE” The left side of the frame is marked, “N 0200” the underside of the frame is marked, “PATENTED”

Barrel Length: 7.5”

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated blade pinned to a raised base fixed to the barrel.  The rear sight is an adjustable rectangular notch sight screwed to the top strap with elevation and windage adjustment.

Stock Configuration & Condition:  The grips are two piece smooth Rosewood .  There are some light handling marks. There is a scratch on the right panel. There are no chips or cracks. The grips are in Excellent overall condition.

Type of Finish: Stainless Steel

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling. There is no visible erosion.  In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10.

Overall Condition:  This revolver retains about 98% of its finish. The turn line is crisp and very thin. There are some faint small scratches and scuffs throughout. There are burn marks on the face of the cylinder. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this revolver rates in about Excellent to Fine condition.

Mechanics: The action functions as intended. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories:  This revolver comes with its factory box, instruction manual, test target, scope rings and scope mount.
