Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “F.I.E. CORP. MIAMI FLA USA READ WARNINGS BEFORE USING MANUAL FREE F.I.E. MIAMI FLA 33054”. On the bottom of the receiver are some proof markings including the Date Code: AI PSF FINITO. The right side of the receiver is marked, “SPAS 12 L.FRANCHI S.P.A. BRESCIA MADE IN ITALY” with its serial number below “AB1419”.
Barrel Length: 21 1/2 in threaded with original thread protector.
Sights / Optics: Non-adjustable circular aperture rear sight and a large, non-adjustable blade foresight fixed to the barrel. The rear sight serves as a latch for the top folding stock.
Stock Configuration & Condition: Folding metal stock and polymer pump grip. The LOP measures 13 1/4 inches from the front of the trigger to the rear of the unfolded buttstock. There are a few scratches and some oxidation.The safety selector is its original oversized lever. No defects are noticed. The button in the pump grip allows for switching between pump action and semi-auto. Pump action serves to cycle riot control ammunition. The stocks rate in about Fine overall condition. 8+1 Capacity.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright. There is no erosion. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows some light scuffs and scratches. The screw heads have some oxidation but are sharp. The markings are crisp and clear. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This shotgun comes with its Franchi fixed wood buttstock, short magtube cap, muzzle brake, wrench, sling, and two chokes (FULL, IM).
Our Assessment: The Terminator, Robocop, Jurassic Park. These are just a few of the movies this incredible shotgun has been featured in. Even if it weren’t a movie star, the SPAS-12 would shine on its own. Originally designed as a rugged military shotgun, the Special Purpose Automatic Shotgun(SPAS) makes for a great close combat weapon for home defense. Pump or semi-auto and very hearty.
