As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: This is a “Chilean Police” marked Browning High Power. Taken from Anthony Vanderlinden, “Central and South American contracts have become favorites for some west coast outfits. In addition to Paraguayan markings, several markings have been fabricated for prewar contracts that never existed. These guns are represented as rare originals and are sold at premiums. Carefully reviewing the pistol’s bluing, the markings, and measuring the width of parts with calipers, especially the slide, will reveal the frauds.” We believe this to be an example of one of those pistols, which makes it a really well-done fake. Please see our photos and good luck!
