Our Assessment: This Fed Ord M14A is a semi-automatic clone of the classic U.S. M14 battle rifle, produced during the 1980s and 1990s by Federal Ordnance in South El Monte, California. These rifles were known for being built on forged receivers and often assembled with genuine U.S. military surplus parts kits, offering civilian shooters a chance to own a close approximation of a service rifle without the NFA restrictions.

Though it shows signs of use—including scattered personal paint, oxidation on the rear sight, and some cosmetic wear—this rifle retains a strong parkerized finish, clean mechanics, and an excellent bore. The rugged composite stock with rubber buttpad, full-length profile, and classic iron sights provides a traditional aesthetic and dependable function. The leather sling completes its Cold War-era look.

Whether you’re a military arms collector, an M14 enthusiast, or a shooter looking for a durable and historically-inspired .308 semi-auto, this Fed Ord M14A delivers solid value and Cold War charisma in equal measure. So bid high and bid firm. I highly encourage you to take a look at the condition of the item in our high-quality photos. Good luck with your bid. -K.F.
