Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “EMPIRE RIFLES / ES00280”. The barrel is marked “.300 WIN MAG” on the left side near the chamber. The floorplate is engraved with scrollwork and the Empire logo.

Sights / Optics: There are no iron sights present. The rifle is come with a Leupold VX-3i 4.5-14x40mm riflescope. The reticle is a Duplex. The sight picture is clear and the glass rates in Excellent condition.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The rifle features a high-grade walnut stock with a Monte Carlo cheekpiece designed for left-handed shooters, rosewood forend tip, and pistol grip cap. Fine hand-cut checkering is present on the grip and forend. The LOP measures 14” from the front of the trigger to the back of the black Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. The stock is free from cracks or chips and shows only minor handling marks. The stock rates in about Excellent overall condition.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: Internal box magazine with a hinged floorplate, capacity of 3 rounds, in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its original metal finish. The balance of the finish shows only light operational wear on the bolt body and contact points. There are no major scratches or dings visible. The screw heads are sharp. The pins are unmarred. The markings are sharp and clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
