Markings: The import mark under the barrel reads “CAI ST ALB VT”. The left side of the receiver is marked with the Egyptian “first born” symbol (originally for their “first” semi auto rifle, the Hakim), with 2 four character Arabic lines, with the new serial number “2143”, “RASHEED 762 MADE IN U.A.R.”, and with a line of Arabic “script”. Both sides of the safety lever are marked in Arabic. The area at the rear of the receiver, below the safety, is marked with an “Arabic character in a triangle”. The bottom of the bolt body is marked with two Arabic characters. The rear sight ladder is marked in Arabic. The butt plate is marked with four Arabic characters. The front of the magazine is marked with the Egyptian “first born” symbol. The left side of the butt is painted with Arabic “numbers”.
Barrel Length: Approximately 20 ½ Inches
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a hooded post. The rear sight is a “U” notched sliding sight escalator marked with Arabic numbers.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The two piece hardwood stock has a pistol grip, finger grooves, ventilated handguard, cutout for the folding bayonet, metal nose cap with sling bar, sling loop under the butt, and a metal butt plate. The buttplate shows scrapes, scratches, and oxidation. The wood shows several scrapes, scratches,and compression marks. Some have damaged small portions of the surface wood. Many of the marks have been oiled over. The most prominent marks are below the right side of the receiver. The LOP measures 12 ¾ inches from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The stock rates in about Very Good Plus overall condition.

Bore Condition: The barrel is counterbored to about 2 inches back from the muzzle. The lands are bright, the grooves are semi bright, and the rifling is deep. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 92% of its current metal finish as refinished. The metal shows scrapes & scratches. The right rear of the receiver shows an area of thinning. The top cover shows discoloration from oxidation, thinning and some pin prick surface erosion. The barrel shows some light discoloration and small spots of oxidation. The screw heads show use. Many of the markings are deep; others are faded. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good Plus to condition as refinished.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The bayonet locks into place properly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: The rifle comes with one 10-round magazine that shows scrapes and light scratches. It is in about Very Good Plus condition. The rifle has a green web sling attached. The metal shows oxidation and a spot of surface erosion. The webbing shows discoloration and soiling. Overall it is in about Very Good Plus condition.
