Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “DANIEL / DEFENSE BLACK CREEK, GA / U.S.A. / MODEL DDM4 / CAL. MULTI / DDM44368974”. Marked “SAFE” and “SEMI” next to the safety selector. Left side of the upper receiver is marked “300” inside a bullet outline with “DDM4PDW” to the rear of the upper left side of the receiver. The right side of the bolt carrier group is marked “DD” and the right side of the receiver is marked “SEMI” and “SAFE”. The dust cover is marked “DD”. The right side of the handguard is marked, “DANIEL DEFENSE, INC. BLACK CREEK, GA. USA US PAT. NO. 7.7 16.865 MFR XL 6.0”. Right side of the barrel is marked “300 BLK 300 AAC BLACKOUT 1/7”. The buttstock is marked “MAXIM DEFENSE”. The mounted optic is marked “EOTECH 300BLK”.

Sights / Optics: This rifle has no provision for Iron Sights. Currently mounted to the 12” picatinny rail is an EOTECH HWS 300 Blackout. This model is designed specifically for 300BLK and has two dots inside the ring. The BDC chart on the top of the optic shows a 50 yard zero for the top dot and 150 yard for the bottom dot while using Subsonic ammunition and a 100 yard zero for the top dot and 300 yards for the bottom with super sonic ammunition. The optic functions correctly and is in Excellent condition.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture set on this SBR includes a 6” M-lok handguard with a pre installed hand stop at the 6 o’clock position, a Magpul MOE K AR15 pattern pistol grip and Maxim Defence 4 position PDW(Personal Defense Weapon) CQB Gen 7 collapsible stock with hex checkered butt plate. The length of pull at full Extension is 13.25”. Unloaded with the optic the rifle weighs 6lbs 4 OZ. The rifle also has the Daniel Defense Grip and Rip ambi charging handle and Geiselle single stage trigger. The furniture shows no notable marks or wear and is in Excellent-Like New condition.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: This rifle includes 2 x 30 round MAGPUL 300BLK Magazines both in Like New condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. The feed ramps are smooth, shiny and clean. The muzzle device is clean and the case deflector shows mild wear. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9.75/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its finish. There are a few minor marks in the finish but none are notable. The screw heads are sharp and the pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent+ condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle includes the two magazines, attached optic, Daniel Defense hard sided case with foam, manual, paperwork, and Inspection Tag.
Our Assessment: This Daniel Defense DDM4 PDW in FDE is a compact short-barreled rifle chambered in .300 Blackout, built in 2021 and optimized for both subsonic use and full-power supersonic ammunition. This example features a 7-inch, 1:7 twist barrel with an 8-inch overall length when including the Daniel Defense Linear Compensator, designed to direct blast and concussion forward. It is fitted with a 6-inch M-LOK handguard that includes a hand stop at the 6 o’clock position, paired with a Magpul MOE K AR-15 style pistol grip, and a Maxim Defense Gen 7 PDW collapsible stock with four positions and a hex checkered butt plate, giving a compact yet ergonomic design. At full extension, the length of pull measures 13.25 inches, and unloaded with the optic mounted, the rifle weighs approximately 6 lbs 4 oz.
This rifle is currently equipped with an EOTECH HWS .300 Blackout holographic sight, specifically designed for the caliber, with a dual-dot reticle system. The optic’s BDC is calibrated so that with subsonic loads, the top dot zeroes at 50 yards and the bottom at 150 yards, while with supersonic loads, the top dot zeroes at 100 yards and the bottom at 300 yards. The PDW also includes the Daniel Defense Grip-N-Rip ambidextrous charging handle and a Geissele single-stage trigger, adding to its performance as a highly capable, close-quarters-focused platform. With its premium components and purpose-driven setup, the DDM4 PDW represents one of Daniel Defense’s most advanced entries into the compact rifle category, balancing maneuverability with the versatility of the .300 Blackout cartridge.
