Markings: The left side of the shank is marked “CAL .22 / LR”. The left side of the receiver is marked with a CZ logo, “CZ”, “452-2E ZKM”, “CZ-USA, KANSAS CITY, KS”. The right side of the receiver is marked “MADE IN / CZECH REPUBLIC” and the serial number “B424099”. The buttplate is marked with a CZ logo. The left side of the barrel and the chamber ring are marked with Czech proof marks next to the “14” date code.

Sights/Optics: The front sight is a vent-hooded blade that is pinned to a serrated ramp base which is fixed to the barrel, and is adjustable for elevation. The rear sight is a tangent sight with a square notch leaf that graduates from 25 to 200. The top of the receiver is grooved for the installation of an optic (not included).
Stock Configuration and Condition: The stock is one-piece walnut with a schnabel tipped forend, checkered pistol grip, roman-nosed comb, sling swivels on the buttstock and forend, and checkered composite CZ buttplate. There is no notable wear. The checkering is sharp. The LOP measures approximately 13 3/4” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The plate is clean. Overall, the stock rates in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is no significant wear or damage, only light storage marks. The screw heads are sharp, with strong slots. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this rifle. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork, and Accessories: The rifle comes with one (1) 5-round magazine and an original serial matching box.
Our Assessment: The CZ 452 also known as BRNO Model Two .22 Rifle is a series of magazine-fed bolt-action rimfire repeating rifles manufactured by the Czech firearms manufacturer Ceská Zbrojovka Uherský Brod and imported into the United States by CZ-USA. Most versions of the 452 rifle series were discontinued in 2011. On display here is a 452-2E ZKM sporting a 25” barrel. This rifle is in high condition, retaining about 99% of its finish. This rifle does not appear to have seen any use in the field and comes in its original serial matching box. Please see our photos and good luck!
