Sights / Optics: The front sight is a black Trijicon blade with a single tritium insert. The rear sight is a Heinie rectangular notch sight dovetailed to the slide with a tritium dot below the center of the notch. The tritium lamps glow in low light conditions.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two piece aluminum Cz custom shop grips with grip tape inserts screw set to the frame. The grips show virtually no signs of wear or use and are in Excellent condition.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: This pistol includes two 14 round CZ magazines in Excellent condition.
Type of Finish: Black polycoat.
Finish Originality: Original
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. The feed ramp is smooth and shiny. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains 99% of its metal finish. The finish shows some minor rub wear of the friction surface of the barrel hood. The pistol shows no notable marks or wear. The markings are clear, the pins un-marred and the screw heads sharp. Overall this pistol is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The Double / single action functions correctly. Has a frame mounted de-cocker. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol includes the factory CZ serialized case, paperwork, owner’s manual, test target, two magazines, and tool.
Our Assessment: The CZ 75 P-01 Compact SDP is a custom-tuned version of the P-01 produced by the CZ Custom Shop, tailored for enhanced accuracy and carry performance. This 2015 model is chambered in 9mm and features a 3.5-inch barrel paired with a decocker-only configuration, omitting a manual safety for simplified defensive use. The slide carries a Heinie rectangular notch rear sight dovetailed to the slide, paired with a black Trijicon front blade with a single tritium insert. Both front and rear sights include tritium elements that glow in low light, ensuring quick target acquisition in all lighting conditions.
The frame is fitted with CZ Custom Shop aluminum grips with grip tape inserts, providing excellent traction without adding bulk. These grips are in excellent condition, showing virtually no signs of wear. Built with the renowned quality of the CZ 75 series, the Compact SDP combines the reliability of the P-01 platform with premium enhancements from CZ Custom, resulting in a refined, defensive-oriented compact pistol with custom-shop precision.
