Action Type: Bolt Action Rifle w/ Internal Hinged Magazine. There is an aftermarket Shilen barrel installed.
Markings: The left rear of the barrel is marked “30/338”. The left side of the receiver is marked “WINCHESTER / –TRADE MARK–”. The right side of the chamber ring is marked with the serial number. The rear of the bolt body is marked “067”. There is jeweling on the bolt.

Sights / Optics: There are no provisions for iron sights. Equipped to the top of the receiver is a Nikon scope with 4-12x magnification and a duplex reticle. The scope shows minimal wear and the lenses are clear. Overall, the scope is in about Fine-Excellent condition.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a one piece textured camouflage Mcmillan with sling studs front and rear, semi-pistol grip, monte carlo comb, and a decelerator buttpad. The stock shows some superficial draglines and rubs through the finish. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 12 3/8” and 13 1/2” from the front of the trigger to the back of the stock and buttpad respectively. The pad shows light wear and is pliable. The stock rates in about Fine-Plus overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is well defined. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows a few faint marks on the barrel and receiver. There is minimal operational wear. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are crisp. Overall, this rifle rates in about Fine-Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The trigger is light and crisp. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: This is a beautiful custom Winchester 70 with an aftermarket stainless steel Shilen barrel that has a bright, strong bore. The rifle is in about Fine-Excellent condition retaining about 98% of its original finish. The mechanics are terrific and the trigger is light and crisp. Please see our photos and good luck!
