Markings: The right side of the slide is marked “SPRINGFIELD ARMORY”, the left is marked “MODEL 1911-A1”. The top of the barrel is marked “S.A. 45 AUTO”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a Trijicon serrated blade with tritium lamp. The rear sight is a Heinie branded combat style serrated blade with square notch.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece checkered plastic with smooth diamonds around the grip screw. The checkering is mostly sharp with a few lightly compressed checkers. The smooth diamonds show light handling and storage marks with a few scuffs present. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, these grips rate in about Fine plus condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright, and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.

Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 97% of its metal finish. There are light handling and storage marks. The trigger shoe shows light finish loss. There are no other signs of major wear or damage. The barrel hood shows cold blue. The markings are clear. The screw heads sharp. Overall, this pistol rates in about Fine Plus condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The barrel hood and lugs have been welded and refit, the lockup on this gun is TIGHT because of this. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes with one-7 round magazine and a right handed Black leather Galco holster. The magazine shows light oxidation. The leather holster shows light scuffs with some edge wear. The holster rates in about Fine overall condition.
