Markings: The top of the barrel is marked “.222 Rem.” The barrel also features custom engraving reading “Custom Crafted For My Good Friend Warren Center By J.D. Jones.” The receiver is marked with the Sako logo and additional factory markings.

Sights / Optics: This rifle does not have provisions for iron sights. The receiver has grooves to mount a scope.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The rifle is fitted with a finely crafted checkered walnut stock with a semi-pistol grip, fluted raised comb, beaver tail forend, and a rubber buttpad. The stock exhibits light handling marks with no major cracks or chips. The checkering is well-executed and remains crisp. The LOP measures 14” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. Overall, the stock rates in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore but there is a squib mark in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 8/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its original metal finish. The finish exhibits minor handling marks and light wear, with no major signs of corrosion or deep scratches. The screw heads are sharp, and the markings are crisp and legible. Overall, this rifle rates in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
