Overall, this rifle rates in Very Good condition.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle comes with the sling, bipod, scope, and magazine as mentioned above.
Our Assessment: Introduced in 1963, the .300 Winchester Magnum quickly secured its place as one of America’s premier long-range hunting and precision cartridges. Its combination of high velocity, flat trajectory, and strong downrange energy made it a favorite for elk hunters, Western big-game shooters, and later for military and law-enforcement sniper applications. By the mid-2000s, when this rifle was built, the .300 Win. Mag. had long been a benchmark round for stretching practical accuracy into extended ranges with excellent bullet selection and consistent terminal performance.
This Remington 700 CDL SF DM has been customized into a purpose-built long-range platform, pairing a stainless fluted 26-inch barrel with a laminate thumbhole stock that promotes stability, recoil control, and consistent cheek weld. The rifle remains mechanically strong, with a superb bore and minimal metal wear. The Leupold Mark 4 8.5-20x optic elevates the package significantly, offering the kind of magnification and reticle precision traditionally favored in tactical and competition roles. Though the stock shows cosmetic wear and the buttpad will need replacement, the rifle itself presents as a highly capable precision tool configured for serious distance work.
Overall, this is a well-appointed long-range magnum rifle combining one of the most proven bolt-action platforms ever built with a respected high-magnification optic and a cartridge known for reach and authority. It offers the next owner an accurate, powerful, and adaptable system with plenty of life left in the bore and steel.
