Markings: The top of the barrel is marked “-KG-”. This may be a former user’s initials or possibly the gunsmith who constructed the rifle.
Barrel Length: 42”, Octagonal
Sights/ Optics: The front sight is a brass blade dovetailed to the muzzle end of the barrel. The rear sight is a square-notch dovetailed to the rear end of the barrel.
Stock Configuration & Condition/ Grip: The stock is one-piece smooth wood featuring two ferrules and a slot for the included ramrod in the forend, a straight wrist with finger grooves that are integral to the bottom tang, fluted Monte Carlo style comb, a patchbox and a metal semi-crescent butt-plate. The stock has some light handling marks, small scratches and nicks. The LOP is 14.5” from the front and 13.25” from the back triggers to the rear end of the butt. The buttplate has some handling wear and some small patches of surface oxidation. Overall, the stock is in Very Good condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: The rifle retains about 95% of its metal finish. There are some scratches, nicks and handling marks on the metal parts of the rifle. Notably, there are some small sctaters patches of surface oxidation. The marking is clear. The screwheads are serviceable. Overall, the rifle is in Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this rifle. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
