Our Assessment: The Redhawk was Ruger’s first large bore double action revolver and was available in several barrel lengths and chambered for an assortment of powerful cartridges such as .357 and .44 Magnum. This example has taken it a step further—not being content to just take down your average bear—and has been customized and chambered for .500 Magnum by Bowen Classic Arms Corp. You can certainly take out a bear with this revolver, but you may split the tree behind the bear, too. This wrist-breaker is in Fine condition with a clean bore, tight lockup and handsome stainless finish. Be sure to do some wrist curls, good luck, and happy bidding!
