Our Assessment: The Colt Bisley Model was developed in the late 19th century to offer a target-oriented variant of the classic Single Action Army. With its distinctive curved grip frame, lower hammer spur, and wide trigger, the Bisley was popular with both target shooters and working cowboys who appreciated its shootability.

Manufactured in 1909, this revolver is over a century old and qualifies as a Curio & Relic. It retains matching serial numbers on the frame, trigger guard, backstrap, and cylinder, suggesting it remains in its original configuration. The markings are still legible, and despite the finish wear, it holds an authentic frontier aesthetic many collectors value.

This is a desirable Colt Bisley in .45 Colt with a 5.5” barrel — a configuration that balances shootability and historic appeal. With its strong mechanics and solid bore, this revolver is a worthy piece for any Colt or Old West enthusiast. Please see our high quality photos and good luck on your bid! -M.C.
