Our Assessment: This is one of those great guns that make you wonder why they are no longer in production. Few automatics offered what this one does: convenient size, potent chambering, comfortable ergonomics, consistent double-action-only trigger, a slide lock and Colt reliability. You just cannot find these guns anymore, and when you do, they aren’t cheap. There are some manufacturers today who make similar guns, but you just can’t beat the original and you won’t find many Ponies in this high condition. Please see our photos and good luck!
