Sights / Optics: The pistol is mounted with a square notch rear sight dovetailed into the slide and a short ramped blade front sight integral to the slide.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are black checkered plastic with gold-colored Rampant Colt medallions and smooth borders. The smooth borders of the grips show only a few light marks. The checkering shows very light wear. The grips rate in about Excellent overall condition.
Type of Finish: This pistol has a polished blue finish on the sides of the slide and frame, with a matte black finish on the top and bottom surfaces.
Finish Originality: Original
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is deep. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, this bore rates a 10 out of 10.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 98% of its metal finish. There are some light handling marks, but no notable defects. There is very light operational wear. The grip screws are sharp and the markings are clear. Overall, this pistol rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: Included is one 7-round magazine, a serial matched Colt original factory box and paperwork including the instruction manual.
