The right side of the slide is marked “COLT’S GOVERNMENT MODEL.” The barrel is marked “ORM LAKE 45ACP”. The right side of the frame is marked “COLT’S P.F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A.” along with the serial number “76755B70”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is made by Novak and has a tritium lamp (the lamp no longer glows), dovetailed into the slide. The rear sight is an adjustable tritium (the lamp no longer glows) Novak sight dovetailed into the slide.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are textured black G10 composite. The grip panels are in very good condition with light wear. The front strap and backstrap are checkered. The front strap has been raised, welded, and checkered. The grips are a little loose. The grips rate in about Very good overall condition.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: Two 8-round magazines in Very Good condition. The magazines are made by Power Mag and Cobramag.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. The bore needs some cleaning. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 96% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows light operational wear throughout. The top and rear of the slide have been rasped. The markings are clear, and the controls remain crisp. The screw heads are sharp and show no tooling. Overall, this pistol rates in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements. This handgun has been highly customized. There is extended controls, a Storm Lake bull barrel, rasping, and multiple other modifications.
