Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The lock-up on this revolver has very little play on each chamber. The trigger is smooth in double action, and crisp in single action. We have not fired this revolver. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: None.
Our Assessment: One of Colt’s “Seven Serpents”, the King Cobra is a medium-frame 6-shot .357 revolver. It has the looks of a Python with lockwork more similar to the venerable Trooper line of revolvers. This example has a stainless steel finish with 6″ barrel. It is in Excellent condition with about 98% of its finish, a great bore, and strong mechanics. This would make a great hunting sidearm or home defense revolver and would also fit in with a Colt collection that hasn’t added this snake to the pit. Please see our pictures and good luck!
