Markings: The right side of the slide is marked ”COLT GOVERNMENT MODEL”. The left side of the slide is marked “-COLT’S- / GOVERNMENT MODEL / -9mm LUGER CALIBER-” followed by a rampant colt. The right side of the frame is marked “COLT’S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A. / NN02992”. The barrel is marked “CAL 9MM LUGER / -PARABELLUM-“. The left of the trigger guard is marked with the “VP” proof and “L”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade with a single recessed white dot fixed to the front of the slide. The rear sight is a square notch with two recessed white dots dovetailed to the rear of the slide.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are double diamond checkered wood with inlaid silver rampant colts. The grips have a few light handling marks and the checkering is mainly sharp. Overall, the grips are in about Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.

Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. There are no major defects, just light handling wear. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this pistol is in about Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The slide-to-frame fit has little play. We did not fire this firearm. As with all used firearms, it may need a thorough cleaning to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes with a serial matching blue Colt case, paperwork including the manual & stop sign hangtag, and a pair of 8-round magazines. The case has a few light marks from storage, in about Excellent condition. The magazines show faint operational wear with intact feed lips and strong springs, in about Fine Plus condition.
