Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “COLT ANACONDA / -44 MAGNUM-”. The right side of the barrel is marked “-DOUBLE ACTION REVOLVER- / COLT’S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A.” The crane cut and crane are marked “AN10416”. The left side of the frame is marked with a Rampant Colt logo. The front top left side of the trigger guard is marked with the Verified Proof, the rear with “G”.

Sights/Optics: The front sight is a ramped blade with a serrated orange plastic insert, pinned to the barrel’s ventilated rib. The rear sight is a square notch adjustable for windage and elevation in a base pinned to the topstrap.
Stock Configuration and Condition: The grips are two-piece checkered black rubber with finger grooves, silver Colt medallions and Colt banners molded to the bottom on each side. There is some scuffing in the smooth borders. Otherwise, there are only light handling marks. The checkering is well defined. There are no rips or tears. Overall, the grips are in Very Good condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 9 out of 10.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. The action shows minimal operational wear, including a thin turn line on the cylinder. Otherwise, there are only light handling marks. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The cylinder locks up with minimal play on each chamber. We did not fire this revolver. As with all used firearms, thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork, and Accessories: This revolver comes in a blue plastic Colt case with the manual.
