Our Assessment: On offer here is the sighted cousin of Colt’s Single Action Army, the New Frontier Single Action Army. It has a ramped front sight and adjustable rear sight, giving it a rather contemporary appearance. This one retains 98% of its original metal finish and has a very nice case colored frame. It comes with its original box, manual, and a secondary .44/40 Winchester cylinder (and not for nothing, it also includes a yellow “Stop Sign” hang tag). This model has a 7 1/2″ barrel giving it a stupendous sight radius for target shooting making for a very accurate revolver. As a collector item, you can’t beat the look and feel of a Colt. Do not hesitate to place a generous bid on this handsome revolver—you will not regret it. Good luck and happy budding!
